Teams take it in turns to specify a picture and it's text in the target language. If the class decides the language was acceptable, the team can click on the picture and text. If the text and picture match, those cells are cleared and points are scored (manually - by the teacher or by the team's representative). The game ends when all the pictures and texts have been cleared revealing a starscape behind.

Click on the telephone sign to switch on speech - the English speech will play each time a text is rolled over by the mouse.

  • Teams take it in turns to play. When a matching pair is found, either that team can continue or the next team should have a turn. This is up to the teacher to decide.
  • Each time the game is played, the texts and pictures are distributed randomly and so the arrangement will be different each time you play or re-play the game.
